Sue in degrees

Hi my name is Sue and I am a HLTA in a primary school. I have just started taking classes in KS1 and KS2 to teach ICT. I am in cohort 6 and although I do ICT there is a lot I don't know, for examples, blogging! I am looking forwrd to the challenges ahead.

Hi, I realise it is some time since I last posted a comment so thought I had better do so. Half term is nearly over and I haven't done half the things I meant to do regarding school work or my degree. I have though really thought about the way my job has changed over the last decade. Also, how I have changed. I am a much more confident person than 10 years ago. I have learnt so much as well, my career has totally changed (mainly due to having children and then problems with child care). The skills I learnt from working in an office and with Joe Public haven't gone away, I am able to use them in my new career. I can now use a computer not just to input data! I can email! I can teach others (children and adults) some things about ICT. I am learning new things all the time. Isn't the brain amazing, it never seems to fill right up, there is always more room for new things!
I really enjoy my job and the challenges it brings.
